Bio - David Myslenski


David Myslenski started The Discipline Coach with a clear mission;  to facilitate success in individuals, teams, and organizations.   With a passion for excellence and to help others, David’s career has centered around quality, process improvement, training, and identifying key performance indicators that measure and lead to improved performance and results.  David conceived and designed The Success Primer to prepare young adults who are about to enter the workforce, specifically addressing life skills training and aims to fulfill the wisdom behind the quote, ‘you can give a man a fish and feed him for a day, or teach him how to fish and feed him for a lifetime’.

As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker, I can offer you workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. Working together, I will move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.

Prior to founding The Discipline Coach, David served as vice president of global operational excellence for an international industrial services organization and has held management positions with an industry leading multi-billion dollar chemical company.

David maintains an active involvement in several community service organizations. Currently, he serves on the La Porte Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Seabrook Rotary, and volunteers at the Boys and Girls Harbor. He is an avid photographer, and spends many of his weekends traveling and following the Marshall University Thundering Herd Softball Team.  During his service in the United States Air Force as an air traffic controller, David received his Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Development from Troy University and his BA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.   David is married to Lori and they have two daughters, Sarah and Rebecca.
